As an AI/ML Engineer, you will play an important role in shaping the AI product we are developing. You will lead the development of AI models and solutions, focusing on natural language processing (NLP) to create an AI interface that can understand, respond, and engage with humans in a truly natural and intelligent manner.
Main Tasks and Duties:
- Model Development: Design, develop, and fine-tune advanced AI models, including neural networks and other machine learning algorithms, to power the AI interface.
- NLP Expertise: Lead the development of NLP components, such as language understanding, generation, and dialogue systems, to enable the AI interface to comprehend and respond to human queries and commands.
- Data Analysis and Preparation: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to train and improve AI models.
Required Skills:
- Solid foundation in AI and ML: Understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and statistical modelling.
- NLP proficiency: Proficiency in natural language processing techniques (text classification, sentiment analysis, language generation, and dialogue systems).
- Programming Proficiency: programming skills in Python (preferred experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras).
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyse datasets, identify patterns, and extract meaningful insights.
- Problem-solving: problem-solving and critical thinking skills to tackle AI challenges.
Qualifications & experience:
- A degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field
- Experience in developing and deploying AI models and solutions (preferred).
- Some publication record or contributions to open-source AI projects (preferred).
- High proficiency in English, verbally and written.
