RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in Product Board meetings
  • Understand product roadmap
  • Understand product customers and users and communicate with them on a regular basis
  • Understand expectations on Epic / Feature level:
  • persona user stories
  • acceptance criteria,
  • definition of done
  • prioritization
  • Set up release goals
  • Manage stakeholder’s expectations – customers, business owners (management), commercial team
    etc
  • Manage team backlog on Epic / Feature level
  • Maximize value produced by the team through qualified and well prioritized backlog
  • Participate in clarification meetings, backlog grooming, pre-planning, planning, demo’s and
    retrospectives
  • Ensure features are properly sliced and can be delivered within 1-2 sprints to keep minimum work in
    progress
  • Optimize processes around communication flows from PM/market to the development team
  • Communicate release goals; assist in sprint goals
  • Provide feedback on development team deliveries
  • Clean up backlog to make sure all items are up to date
  • Understand PBI dependencies for predicting complexity and technical implications
  • Clarify feature requirements when more info is needed
  • Provide feedback from the market and/or commercial team regarding product usage etc
  • Accept/Reject done done features
  • Take active part in onboarding new colleagues and provide product introduction

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in the position of product owner / business analyst
  • Work experience with and understanding of CRM / OMS / ERP platforms
  • Insight in cloud based SAAS solutions
  • Relevant education such as: MsC, BsC, or similar
  • Good knowledge of software and applications
  • Experience in product life cycle management
  • Experience with working with agile methods
  • Experience with working with international customers
  • Data driven, analytical and result oriented
  • Persuasive in both writing and verbally
  • Fluent in English written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills

PREFERRED/NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of the audiology industry and/or clinical management
